A taste of Autumn at Mayflower Brasserie

Whether you're joining friends for a leisurely get together or marking a special occasion with an indulgent evening, we warmly invite you to savour the season in style.

Nestled within the grandeur of Boringdon Hall in the Devon countryside, the 2 AA Rosette Mayflower Brasserie offers delectable dining and first-class service in a contemporary setting that blends elegance with historic charm.

Head Chef Max Ellerton’s new Autumn evening menu showcases the very best of local and seasonal ingredients. Whether you're joining friends for a leisurely get together or marking a special occasion with an indulgent evening, we warmly invite you to savour the season in style.

Make a decadent start with dishes including spiced cauliflower beignets, duck and fig terrine, and beef brisket croquette. An array of main courses embodying the flavours of Autumn are equally enticing, including venison haunch with potato fondant, roasted fig, hen of the woods mushroom and juniper spiced jus; glazed pork belly with black pudding fritter, apple and mustard compote, parsnip, and hazelnut; and roasted woodland mushroom risotto with chestnut, pickled shallots and wood sorrel. Seafood lovers will be drawn to the line-caught Cornish hake, accompanied by mashed potato, roasted sweetcorn and a delicate beurre blanc.

To finish, peruse the dessert menu with carefully selected wine pairings. Aromatic flavours offer a final indulgence: from the pear and almond frangipane with crème fraîche ice cream, to the chocolate and whisky mousse with caramel and toasted oat flapjack.

At the Mayflower Brasserie, enjoy time out to connect with loved ones over exceptional food, and experience this season at its most delicious.
