We are proud to share that voting is now open for the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2027, a respected celebration of quality recognised by both guests and travel professionals. It is a privilege for Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall to once again be considered among such distinguished names in hospitality and wellness. This continues a remarkable, following recent recognition as Best Hotel Spa in the UK at the 2026 awards and Best Destination Spa at the 2025 awards.

Celebrating outstanding independent lifestyle businesses across England, Wales and Scotland, the Muddy Stilettos Awards shine a light on places that leave a lasting impression.
We are delighted that Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall has been named a regional finalist for Best Wellness Break in Devon, while Boringdon Hall has also been named a regional finalist for Best Afternoon Tea in Devon. Both nominations reflect the breadth of experiences our guests return for, from deeply restorative spa stays to elegant moments of indulgence.

As the UK’s largest independent regional food group, Taste of the West champions the very best of the South West’s food and drink scene. We are proud to be recognised by an organisation that celebrates provenance, quality and the distinctive character of hospitality across the region.
At Boringdon Hall, dining is central to a stay here. From morning through to evening, our menus are shaped by exceptional local produce and the finest ingredients from Devon and the South West, brought to life with creativity and precision.
This approach is reflected across both our MICHELIN-Starred, 4 AA Rosette restaurant Àclèaf and the 2 AA Rosette Mayflower Brasserie, where seasonality, craftsmanship and a strong sense of place define every dish.
In 2026, Boringdon Hall was awarded Taste of the West Gold in both the Hotel category and Restaurant category by a panel of expert judges.
The Taste of the West Judges 2026 said: "Boringdon Hall is a lovely enchanted manor house with fabulous history, that’s delightfully furnished with character. It’s a place where people make the difference.”
