We believe this time-honoured tradition should be enjoyed by all. That’s why our Vegan and Gluten-Free Afternoon Teas are prepared with the same creativity and care, featuring seasonal selections such as Moroccan Cauliflower Tartlets, Mexican Bean Rolls, and Feta & Onion Tart.

Ever wondered why we have afternoon tea or how this cherished ritual began? It all started with one lady feeling a little peckish. In 1840, Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford and a close friend of Queen Victoria, found the long stretch between lunch and dinner left her hungry. To curb her appetite, she began inviting friends to join her for light bites and tea in the afternoon. This simple yet elegant practice quickly caught on, blossoming into the beloved British tradition of afternoon tea that continues to delight us today.
