A Pawsitively Perfect Escape: Dog-Friendly Stays at Boringdon Hall

Whether it’s walkies across the moors or curling up together in front of the fire in our historic Great Hall, your pampered pooch is invited to enjoy the enchanted charm of Boringdon alongside you.

Here at Boringdon Hall, we are firm believers that no luxury escape is truly complete without every member of the family - and that includes your four-legged friend. That’s why our five-star manor on the edge of Dartmoor welcomes dogs with open arms, a cosy bed, and a well-earned treat.

For Wagging Tails and Muddy Paws

Settle in to one of our dog-friendly Courtyard Rooms or Executive Suites, where rich furnishings meet countryside comfort. Your pooch will be treated to a dog bed, bowl, and a Sleepy Bones treat - ideal after a day exploring Dartmoor’s wild beauty. We’ve even got maps of our favourite local walking routes available at reception.

While your pup rests their paws, take advantage of complimentary access to Gaia Spa, our award-winning sanctuary of calm, and enjoy 10% off any spa treatments during your stay.

Pampered Pooch Break

Looking to spoil them a little more? Our Pampered Pooch One-Night Break is the ideal escape for dog mums, dads, and their loyal companions. It includes:

  • A glass of Champagne on arrival
  • An overnight stay in a Courtyard Room
  • Breakfast in the Grenville Suite with your pooch by your side
  • A delicious three-course dinner at the 2 AA Rosette Mayflower Brasserie, via room service, or in the Grenville (subject to availability)
  • Full access to Gaia Spa and a 10% discount on treatments

Your furry companion will also receive:

  • A plush dog bed
  • A bowl for water and dinner
  • A Sleepy Bones treat to wind down with

We want every guest to feel right at home, even the ones with paws.

Paws, Paths, and Peaceful Moments

There’s no shortage of adventures for you and your canine companion. Boringdon’s doorstep opens out onto Dartmoor’s dramatic landscape - with endless trails, ancient woodland, and breathtaking views that’ll have tails wagging. One of our favourite walks? Plymbridge Woods. Just two miles from the hotel, it’s a peaceful riverside route lined with oak trees and teeming with wildlife.

Afterwards, head back to the Hall and relax by the fire in the Great Hall, perhaps with a glass of wine in hand and a snoozing pup by your side. It’s all part of the charm that makes our manor on the hill so special.

A Note for Our Guests

While your dog is very welcome to stay with us, please note that Àclèaf and the Mayflower Brasserie are not dog-friendly. Limited dining is available in the Grenville Suite if you'd like to dine with your dog - just let our reservations team know when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

We also fully welcome assistance dogs in line with the Equality Act 2010, ensuring all our guests feel comfortable and cared for.
