Our ‘enchanted place on the hill’ has incanted a menu perfect for witches versed in the lore of tea and muggles wanting to learn more about the loose-leaf arts. Available from Sunday 1st September until Thursday 14th November the Boringdon Hall's Wands and Wizard Afternoon Tea is served daily, 1pm – 4pm and is a delightful way to spend an autumn afternoon.
Magical Menu
Manifested with love the Wands and Wizard Afternoon Tea at Boringdon Hall Hotel will delight all who dine with us. Locally sourced produce, seasonal offerings and an extensive Jing loose-leaf tea menu create an unforgettable experience to be shared with friends and family. Catering to all, vegan and gluten free options are also available.
Traditional tiers begin with sandwiches featuring much-loved combinations like cheese and onion as well as more sophisticated flavour combinations like goats’ cheese and beetroot mousse or opt for a Gruyere and Rosemary Scone.
Of course, you can delight in Devonshire classics with plain & fruit scones accompanied by clotted cream & selection of preserves providing a magical combination. For the finale of your afternoon tea peruse delicate artisan cakes delivered to your table on the bespoke cake trolley. Which will tempt you?

Walk Into History
Afternoon tea in Plymouth is served within Boringdon Hall Hotel in Devon's Mayflower Brasserie. Walk through the Great Hall, an ancient space where history is all around you - but these portraits and tapestries don’t speak to you! Look upwards and admire the dramatic stonework of the Elizabethan-esque architecture. Find the Mayflower Brasserie beyond the Great Hall, a cosy space with beamed ceilings and elegant fabrics.
